Our
Mission:
The Rocky Mountain BJJ Federation’s mission is to spread
the art of Jiu Jitsu in Colorado. We are committed to attract to Colorado
national level athletes to compete in our tournaments and help launch
our state in the map as one of the top states in the country to practice
and compete right along with California, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, New
York and others.
Our competitions will differ from the existing
tournaments by having a “double elimination” format, no
advantage points and no referee decisions. The matches will be decided
by
the fighters, NOT by a referee.
From watching the way many promoters
organize their tournaments (or should we say DISorganize them), we’ll
strive to make our tournaments run much more efficient, fun and enjoyable
for
the competitors.
If you are a competitor YOU KNOW how frustrating
and distracting it can be to sit around for hours on end in a hard
bench waiting
to fight and to have a victory stolen from you by a bias or distracted
referee. We plan to make the competitor the number one priority
in our tournaments!

RMBJJF and Fight To Win Promotions are working together to bring you quality tournaments and help keep your tournament skills up. Competitors who come in first place at the 3rd U.S. National Cup will be awarded free registration entry to the 2nd Tournament Of Champions gi and no gi tournament in February 2009.
And competitors who come in first place at the 2nd Tournament Of Champions will be awarded free registration entry to RMBJJF gi and no gi tournament in April 2009. Please check back at our website or check our newsletters for current information.
