Make sure your are registered!
1. _______ To make sure that we have received your registration and that you are part of a bracket, please check our website on our event page and click on registered competitors for your name. If your name is not on the list, you will not be competing. We should have names posted within 24 hours of registration and have them all up the night before the event.

Free Coach or Instructor Admission
2. _______ We allow ONLY 2 FREE INSTRUCTORS OR COACHES PER ACADEMY LOCATION, please do not make the whole decision for your academy!!! Ask your instructor who the 2 free instructors/coaches are going to be for your academy, then add their names during registration so they can get free admission. Instructor and coach list will also be posted on the website on the event page. If their names are not there within 24 hours of registration or by the night before the event, please contact us.

Team Trophies and Compeitor Rankings
3. _______ Please list your actual academy name for competitor rankings on grapplingleague.com and list your competition team name for team trophies.

Important Academy and Bracket Information!
4. _______ Please put down the correct academy name. If they are spelled differently then they will be bracketed as 2 different academies and you might end up fighting someone from your academy first. They will also be turned into grapplingleague.com with the wrong names. Brackets will not be changed due to misspelling or writing down the wrong academy name, etc. This is a standard practice for a lot of tournaments and a good habit to get into.

Support your Academy
5. _______ We give out team trophies and put your academy on our website to help advertise their school. Help support your Academy by providing their information on our registration form.

Medals and Podium Pictures
6. _______ If you have won a medal, please show your support to the other winners and don't leave without your medal and taking the podium picture. If you have to leave, please check in at the front booth and they will take a single picture of you and give you your medal. Handing out medals and taking podium pictures start shortly after your division is done.

Tournament Rules
7. _______ It's your responsibility to read tournament rules before the tournament. You can also print them from our website.

Spectator Fee ( There is no credit card machine or ATM, cash only)
8. _______ Please let friends and family know that there is a $5 spectator fee so they are not surprised at the door. They will not get in if they do not have cash.


Date: Saturday, April 19th- starting at 9:00 am
Tournament schedule (chronogram) will be posted on our website by April 18th giving a approximate idea of what time your division will start. Please check back to see when your division checks in.

Children's First Check in begins at 8:00am - Rules will start for the kids division at 9:00am, tournament begins afterwards.

Adults's First 9:00AM - Rules will start for the Adult division at 10:00am, tournament begins afterwards..

Adults Second Check TBA - Please read the rules on our website. Chronogram will be posted by April 18th.

Don't forget to check the chronogram to see when your division checks in as some of you may not have to check in in the morning. Chronogram will be posted April 18th.


Please Note:

Adult and Teen Divisions
The fee for early registration received by 9:00pm, Monday, April 14th, is $55.00.
The fee for late registration received April 15th to April 17th will be $70.00.

Children's Divisions
The fee for early registration received by 9:00pm, Monday, April 14th, is $35.00.
The fee for late registration received April 15th to April 17th will be $50.00.

ABSOLUTELY NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 9:00 pm April 17th! Also, note that registration fee(s) are non-refundable.

Please put down the CORRECT ACADEMY NAME AND SPELLING. If 2 Academies are joining as a team, please put down your actual academy name first, then put your team academy next. Important that you do this so we can bracket the competitors and credit the schools correctly. Brackets will not be changed due to writing down the wrong academy name or misspellings, etc.

Weight Category

Please find your category on the following tables and place a check in the box to the right of your category. Note that we will weigh each competitor before his or her first match. You only get ONE CHANCE to make weight WITH YOUR GI ON, so PLEASE be sure to register for the correct category in order to avoid DISQUALIFICATION.

Please mark the weight division you wish to enter. Mark only ONE division and only one Absolute division!
Absolute divisions will only be used if time permits it. You will be able to sign up the absolute division after your weight division bracket is concluded at the tournament.

Note: Absolute divisions will only happen if time permits. The "Adult Male Advanced Division" will only have one absolute class (open weight).

Note: Photo ID will be required as a proof of age in order to enter the Teen's & Master's divisions. If a competitor enter the wrong division he will NOT be able to change divisions at the day of the tournament and will be DQ, registration fee is NON - REFUNDABLE! Be sure to enter the appropriate age division.

I, _____________________________________________, UNDERSTAND THAT BY ENTERING THIS COMPETITION, I WILL BE COMPETING AT MY OWN RISK AND NEITHER MAURICIO ZINGANO, JANET ZINGANO, THE ARVADA HIGH SCHOOL, THE COLORADO STATE JIU JITSU CHAMPIONSHIPS NOR THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU FEDERATION, LLC SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, DAMAGES OR DEATH SUSTAINED DURING THIS COMPETITION OR AS A RESULT THEREOF.

FURTHERMORE, IF THE COMPETITOR IS A MINOR, I ASSERT THAT I AM HIS OR HER LEGAL GUARDIAN AND I GRANT MY PERMISSION FOR HIM OR HER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COLORADO STATE JIU JITSU CHAMPIONSHIPS.

ALL COMPETITORS UNDERSTAND THAT UPON ENTERING THE COMPETITION ARENA, THEIR IMAGE MAY BE RECORDED BY VARIOUS MEANS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AUDIO, VIDEO, AND STILL PHOTOGRAPHY. ALL COMPETITORS RELEASE MAURICIO ZINGANO, JANET ZINGANO AND THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FEDERATION, LLC FROM ANY LIABILITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF SUCH IMAGES. ALL COMPETITORS WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO THE USE OR OWNERSHIP OF SUCH IMAGES.

SKILL LEVEL VERIFICATION POLICY IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT ALL COMPETITORS ARE TRULY QUALIFIED FOR THEIR LEVEL OF COMPETITION, THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FEDERATION REQUIRES ALL COMPETITORS TO READ AND SIGN THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATION:

THE UNDERSIGNED CERTIFIES:

1) THAT HE/SHE IS THE RANK OF __________________

2) THAT HE/SHE HAS NOT COMPETED IN PAST TOURNAMENTS AT A HIGHER DIVISION LEVEL;

3) THAT HE/SHE WILL NOT COMPETE IN FUTURE TOURNAMENTS AT A LOWER DIVISION LEVEL.

THE UNDERSIGNED AGREES THAT THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU COMMITTEE MAY CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION AS TO THE ACCURACY OF THE ABOVE CERTIFICATION, AND CAN PUBLISH THE RESULTS WITH OTHER BJJ/GRAPPLING PROMOTERS AND THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU FEDERATION IN ORDER TO VERIFY THE ACCURACY THEREOF.

ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE POLICY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE FORFEITURE OF REGISTRATION FEES AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CURRENT TOURNAMENT, AND MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM FUTURE TOURNAMENTS.

FINALLY, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BY AUTHORIZING THIS PAYMENT I CONSENT TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN.
